About
Jaia Thomas is a Los Angeles-based sports and entertainment attorney. Her practice focuses on transactional and intellectual property law, assisting clients with contract drafting, copyright registrations, trademark registrations and deal negotiations. Jaia Thomas has spoken at countless conferences and schools across the country, including Carnegie Mellon University, Vassar College, Georgetown Law School and Emory Law School. She has also facilitated a series of legal and educational workshops for such national brands as WeWork. Jaia Thomas began her legal career in New York City, while also starting a production company, Singularus Productions. Through her production company she has produced various conferences and content for the stage and screen.
A native of Cincinnati, Ohio, Jaia Thomas is a graduate of Colgate University (BA) and The George Washington University Law School (JD). She also holds a Certificate in Television, Film and New Media Production from UCLA. She is a member of the New York Bar Association and American Bar Association. In her spare time, Jaia is a member of several boards and organizations, including USC's Sports Business Institute Rising Executives Committee.
